Born in Berkeley, California, in 1985, I, Kyoko Apperson, found my roots in the tranquil agricultural lands of central California before settling in Crescent City in 2002. My journey took unexpected turns, from being a Sea Lion handler and Aquarium manager to later serving as a youth correctional officer and probation officer. In 2008, I married my wonderful husband, and in 2010, I welcomed our first child into the world. The decision to embrace the role of a stay-at-home mom led me to discover my profound love for photography, particularly capturing the enchanting moments of my growing family.
In 2013, fueled by my passion, I embarked on the path of professional photography, specializing initially in empowering women through boudoir photography. As the demand for my services expanded, so did the scope of my expertise. Today, Kyoko Apperson Photography offers a diverse range of services, including commercial and real estate photography, interior design partnerships, portraiture, sports photography, and fine art. Based in Marysville, CA, at 2016 Waterville Dr, my studio is a creative haven where each image is meticulously crafted to tell a unique and compelling story.
