Details
Birds of a Feather offers a glimpse into the practice of Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK}, featuring the post-contact utilitarian artistry of Jeremy Peconom (Mt. Maidu) alongside Meyo Marrufo (Eastern Pomo), Kai LaPena (Wintu), Jaime Lanouette (Nisenan), and Shanti Parks (Mewuk). The Gallery Show will run from August 20 to September 30, 2021.
Join us for an artist panel at The Gallery at Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture on September 11 from 5-6 pm.
- 5-6 pm: Artist Panel
- 6-8 pm: Reception
In addition, there will be an artist talk on YSAC’s Facebook page and YouTube channel on Friday, August 20 from 6-7pm.
