Sutter Buttes Regional Land Trust is thrilled to be hosting the 6th Annual California Swan Festival this November 10-12, 2023. This spectacular three-day birding event is a must-see for bird and animal enthusiasts alike. Enjoy bird-watching tours, explore the beauty of local flora and fauna, hike in the mysterious Sutter Buttes volcanic range, visit a local rice farm, and be captivated by our knowledgeable presenters.
The Swan Festival will have a variety of tours and activities for all interest levels and ages. Families with children will have an opportunity to enjoy free hands-on learning experiences and crafts at the Swan Festival Kid’s Zone located at the Sutter County Museum.
Additional kid’s activities, live animal presentations, vendor fair and unique speakers will be featured on Saturday and Sunday, in the Swan Festival Hub at the Yuba County Government Center. Festival admission is free to both locations, with tours requiring a per person fee and pre-registration.
