The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards were founded in 1923 and, for more than a century, have inspired bold ideas in creative teens throughout the country. Students will be celebrated at the Sutter Theater Center for the Arts as students from throughout the north county region will have their art and writing on display. An awards celebration will take place and some students will be moved on to the next level and then possibly on to Washington DC for placement in the Halls of Congress and/or be published in the Scholastic Art & Writing Best of 2023 book. Come and experience the students’ amazing work. This free event is being held at the Sutter Theater Center for the Arts, 754 Plumas Street, Yuba City.
