Event Description
Join us for Part II of this special series of lectures to learn about the environmental history of Yuba-Sutter. In this series, local author and historian David Rubiales will discuss the natural landscape as it existed before the arrival of human beings, use of the landscape by Native Americans, changes wrought by early settlers, impacts of the Gold Rush and hydraulic mining, and the introduction of modern agriculture.
