Description:
Each winter, tens of thousands of huge, beautiful Tundra Swans wing their way south from their breeding grounds in northwest Alaska to spend the winter in the Sacramento Valley.  Leaders will take us along the back roads in District 10 to see the birds and their habitats.  Difficulty Level 1 (wheelchair accessible)
Be sure to bring binoculars, if you own them.  A spotting scope will be available.
Meet at Swan Central and carpool to the Feather and Yuba River Basin (Reclamation District 10, Yuba County).  Duration of the trip is 2 hours and driving is 20 miles.
