Description:
The Standing Tall for Veterans is the chief fundraiser for the Yuba Sutter Veterans Stand Down. The Stand Down sponsors a three day event each August. The event offers medical, dental, hearing and vision services. Stand also provides clothing, showers, food and shelter. A variety of counseling services to include housing, employment, VA benefits and drug and alcohol counseling. Approximately 1000 Veterans and their families receive services during the three day event. Stand Down also maintains a year around office at 604 D Street in Marysville to assist Veterans and their families with a variety of services and resources.
