Shadow puppetry — also called shadow play — got its start thousands of years ago in China and India. This unique form of storytelling is the oldest type of puppetry in the world.
Participants will have 2 hours to create their own tale--be it action, mystery, romance, comedy or a little bit of each! Original characters will come to life on the big screen (not that “big screen”, but it’s pretty big) in front of a captive audience during our last hour of class- “Artsy Darci’s Shadow Puppet Theatre Hour”!
Popcorn and drinks will be provided during performance.

Have you ever used a light and a blank wall to make your hand eat someone’s head? Of course you have! So, you've already had some experience with shadow puppets!
