Description:

On February 19, 1942, Executive Order 9066 was signed by President Roosevelt, requiring internment of all Americans of Japanese ancestry. A collection of photographs of local Japanese-Americans taken in 1942 just prior to their internment. In honor of the trials and tribulations that these American individuals had to endure, Yuba Sutter Arts will be exhibiting replicas of the photographs in side our Gallery.

The Gallery will be displayed between February 10, through February 15, and is available to be viewed during normal business hours or by appointment.

Join us on Saturday, February 15 at 3pm for a reception hosted with food and drink as we honor the subjects within these photographs
