YUBA-SUTTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
THE VOICE FOR BUSINESS CATALYST, CONVENER & CHAMPION
Greetings!
The next couple of weeks are really busy at the Chamber! We have networking events, vendor fairs and candidate forums on the docket. We hope that you will be able to participate in some or all of these activities.
I would like to draw special attention to the upcoming candidate forums as I believe these forums are really important events. This is where we get to learn more about the candidates to help us make informed decisions at the polls.
In partnership with the Appeal Democrat, we will host our first forum on Monday, April 25th at 6 PM for the Sutter County races, followed by the Yuba County races on Wednesday, April 27th, 6 PM. Forum details are listed below.
This partnership provides a great opportunity for both the Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce and the Appeal Democrat to join forces to bring together the local business community and to provide a venue where candidates can address voters’ concerns. We hope that you will get take advantage of this important opportunity to learn more about your candidates.
The forums will be moderated by Bob Harlan, Executive Director, Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way and Robert Summa, Editor for the Appeal Democrat. The participating candidates will each have an opportunity to provide opening and closing statements and will be responding to questions from the forum moderators and the public.
If you are unable to attend in person we will also be streaming the Forums live on the Chamber's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/YubaSutterChamber
I hope to see you at our upcoming events!
Be Well,
Marni

We will be kicking off Small Business Week (May 1 - 7) with a Spring Vendor Fair! The Spring Vendor Fair will be held here at the Chamber of Commerce in our parking lot, showcasing 25+ vendors, food, music, festivities and more! This is the perfect opportunity for shoppers to get out and support our local small businesses!
The focus of the Spring Vendor Fair is to provide a public space for area small businesses, like cottage industry and home-based businesses, to help grow within the community. The event is open to the public and free to attend.
In celebration of Small Business Week May 1-7 the Chamber is promoting shop local! On Saturday May 7th, we are encouraging the community to shop Marysville (D Street and beyond). Many shops will have sales and specials that day!
There will be additional vendors set up at booths on 3rd and D Street. Come out and shop local.
