Support Live Oak Lions Club

Business Owners and Community Members:

Live Oak Lions Club is a non-profit club that sole purpose is to give back to our community. We do this in many ways. Our club has hosted for the last 65 years:

• Easter Egg Hunts giving away numerous bicycles, scooters, and Easter baskets filled with candy, along with hiding 5000 plastic eggs each year.
• We gather, sort, pack, and deliver over 200 Christmas food baskets for families in our community.

We also have several other community projects, such as:

• Hosting free swimming for the community on the 4th of July.
• Donate annually to Luther School for their Grinch night, LOMS Back to School night, and the Live Oak High School FFA Program.
• We support local Boy Scout troops in Live Oak.
• We are a sponsor for Live Oak Little League, including opening day and closing day.

Due to COVID–19, we have been unable to do many of our community fund raisers that help support our community events. We have had to cancel with heavy hearts:

• Our many Bingo nights, our community calendars, the annual Live Oak Festival, and all the other wonderful things that help support our fund raising.

Usually the Live Oak unified school helps collect canned foods for our food basket, but with schools doing distant learning, we will be needing donations of non-perishable food items.

During this unexpected time, we our reaching out to you, our community business owners and community members and asking for donations of any kind. There are a few ways you can help:

• Non-perishable food items, cash donations, canned food.

All funds raised will go back into our Live Oak community.

Donations can be sent to:
Live Oak Lions Club, P.O. Box 325, Live Oak, CA 95953

If you are sending a check, please make sure to note what the donation is for …

• $125 Christmas Basket for 1-family, Non-perishable food items, Donation Money, or
Gift Cards to WinCo or Walmart.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact:
Lion Mike Eastridge at (530) 682-3233
