Alzheimer’s Association support groups create a safe, confidential, supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems. All of our in-person support groups are following current CDC, county, and local COVID-19 safety guidelines. Many of our host location sites have their own safety guidelines in place. Please come prepared with a face mask and hand sanitizer. Our Family Caregiver Support Groups are not for the person with the diagnosis. If you need information regarding respite for your loved one so you are able to attend the Support Group or more information about the group, please feel free to contact the Alzheimer's Association at 1.800.272.3900.
