Join us every first Friday of the month for a space where parents or caregivers can learn, play and grow with their children. Each month will feature a different theme on a topic important to children's growth.
The Chamber is hosting a Roundtable Discussion on January 10th at 5:30 PM to allow community members and businesses to ask questions and learn more regarding the Homekey 2.0 Project proposal for Yuba City.
The intention of this specific project, according to Habitat for Humanity Yuba/Sutter (HFHYS), is to turn the Bonanza Inn location, 1001 Clark Ave in Yuba City, into affordable housing. HFHYS is looking to partner with the City of Yuba City for this Homekey 2.0 Project which would be 130 low-income apartment units. These units would be available to those who are unable to afford what housing is available in Yuba Sutter.
The Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to the vitality of the local business community. We understand you may have concerns about the impacts of new projects on your business and want to ensure that you have the opportunity to voice your concerns, ask questions or even give support to upcoming projects. These roundtable meetings are designed to give you this opportunity.
If you would like to attend this Roundtable, please register.

As the more traditional work and higher education pathways are being disrupted by the growth in technology and demand for different skills, career and technical education provides a comprehensive set of skills and provides pathways that give our high school and college students opportunities not offered by the more traditional educational pathways. The discussions we will begin to have at our breakfast can be the catalyst to bringing our businesses and educators together to create more pathways and connect more young people/students to those pathways.
