About American Red Cross of Northern California
American Red Cross of Northern California
Welcome to the American Red Cross of Northern California, a beacon of hope and support across the expansive California Gold Country Region. Serving over 3.7 million individuals spread across 26 counties, our mission is to alleviate suffering in times of crisis, provide comfort to those in need, and empower communities to prepare for and respond to emergencies effectively.
Spanning a diverse landscape, our Northern California Chapter encompasses a wide array of communities, from the rugged coastlines of Del Norte and Humboldt to the serene beauty of Plumas and Butte counties. With a commitment to serving every corner of our region, we stand ready to respond to disasters, both large and small, offering vital assistance and resources to those affected.
In collaboration with the Sierra-Delta Chapter, which extends its reach over a distinct yet equally vital set of counties including Sierra, Yuba, and Sacramento, among others, we strive to build resilience and foster unity. From providing disaster relief and preparedness education to supporting military families and blood donation initiatives, the American Red Cross of Northern California remains dedicated to embodying the spirit of compassion and service in every community we touch. Join us as we work together to create a safer, stronger Northern California for all.
